Role and responsibilities
The internship program is designed to work closely with Acron Beka’s professional members during all stages of the M&A process (marketing and execution). We look for an active and committed member for the M&A group, to be involved in all relevant business activities (marketing and origination) and support the professional team in internal and client work streams.
Tasks can include (but not limited to):
- Research and analysis works
- Support in the preparation of presentations to clients. Participation and support to the professional team members in financial analysis, modelling and valuation tasks.
- Preparation of market analysis, transaction and trading comparable multiples
- Produce and maintain databases and internal materials (e.g. credentials, case studies)
- Participation in live execution projects for clients
Background and skills required
- Post-graduate candidates with strong academic background within Finance, Management, Economics or Engineering areas
- Previous experience in the sectors of Investment Banking (preferably Corporate Finance - M&A), Valuation Services or Private Equity will be positively considered
- Determination to learn, passion for excellence and results-driven
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and against deadlines
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Technical competencies: accounting knowledge, financial and valuation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Languages: Native/Proficient levelin Spanish + fluency in English will be compulsory
- Other European languages in addition would be regarded positively
- Strong ability with Microsoft Office tools (remarkably XLS and PPT), use of Bloomberg and other M&A frequently-used information databases
